Jhulan
Goswami loves to devour the English wickets. Small
Wonder than she emerged the architect of India's
first Test series win in England on Friday. Of
the 33 scalps she has claimed in five Tests, a
staggering 24 have been of English women .
In fact, the England
coach Richard Bates had forewarned about the danger
that Jhulan posed to his team in an interview
to TOI early this month. In fact she became the
first Indian bowler to claim 10 wickets in a '
Test ' .
You're
in trouble, Inzy warns Hair
Pakistan
captain Inzamam-ul-Haq on Tuesday night turned
up the heat on Darrell Hair by reiterating that
his team were not guilty of balltampering and
claiming the Australian umpire is in "big trouble"
after demanding $500.00 to resign.
The veteran batsman,
who still has disciplinary charges hanging over
him, endured chants of 'cheat' from sections of
crowd in Bristol during Monday's Twenty20 match.
Inzamam hit back, saying "I'm 100% sure I
have done nothing . That is why we took our stance
at the Oval."
Hair's position
remains unclear and the ICC have postponed an
emergency executive board meeting on Sunday which
would have debated his future.
Inzamam added: "Darrell
is in big trouble, I don't know why he is doing
these things. Now it is a big issue. I'm not worried
about me and Darrell Hair-I'm thinking about the
cricketers. It's not good for their cricket."
Hair has been withdrawn
from a 2nd XI match between Derbyshire and Gloucestershire
at Chesterfield, which was to start on Wednesday
at his own request. ECB umpires manager Chris
Kelly said: "It is inappropiate for him to
do the match with what is going on. There are
lots and lots of issues."
Inzamam claimed
Pakistan weree ready to resume play after a delay
following the tea break on the fourth day, and
were prepared to take the field even on the final
day of the match.
"I was quite
happy to play the game after half an hour and
then the next day because we had launched our
protest. I don't know why he was not interested
in playing," Inzamam told Sky Sports.
